I have been teaching for 11 years. I have a Master's degree in Elementary School Counseling as well as certification in Pre-School, Kindergarten and School Library areas.

I enjoy story-telling - especially with puppets. I enjoy seeing all the students from the school Pre-K - 3rd grade. The library can reach each and every student with educational activities. We like to have live science exhibits such as ant farms and parakeets - to help students learn about life science as well as to teach respect for other living things.

One of my favorite children's author is: Bill Pete

One of my favorite Children's Book is: Henry and Mudge

THE BOOK NOOK

JES LIBRARY NEWS

APRIL/MAY BOOK NOOK

Classes enjoyed hearing the story It Looked Like Spilt Milk during the week of April 24-28.  Each student participated in the story by placing an object on the storyboard.  After the story, children looked at the clouds and drew objects the clouds were shaped like.  When the weather permitted, we had the story in the "outdoor classroom".  The children also enjoyed watching the birds and butterflies while in the outdoor classroom.

Thanks for your interest in our school!
