My name is Rexie Tweedy and I LOVE teaching kindergarten. In fact, I have loved it for 28 years!! I love to watch the children as they develop during the school year from pre-schoolers to children that are ready to go to first grade. Kindergarten is a major changes for four and five year olds and I have always enjoyed helping them grow and develop. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree and later received my Master's degree from LSU. I have taught in Livingston and Ascension parishes before my family moved to Jena. I have been at Jena Elementary for eight years.
