MRS. ENTERKIN'S

KINDERGARTEN CLASS

My name is Lynn Enterkin.  I have been a teacher for 6 years, 5 of which have been in kindergarten.  This is my second year at JES!  I always look forward to a new school year and I am sure this one will be an exciting one.

I was born and raised in Tioga, Louisiana, just outside of Alexandria.  In 1992 I married a Jena boy-Danny Enterkin.  We have two beautiful and wonderful children; Lexi is 14 and Brian is 10.  My kids keep me extremely busy!

My greatest goal as a kindergarten teacher is that the children leave my classroom with a LOVE of school and particularly reading.  I always had teachers who encouraged me to read, and still love a good book.  I also LOVE taking pictures and scrap booking when I have spare time (which seems to be never). 

I truly believe that parents and teachers must work together to ensure each child's success in kindergarten.  My door is always open if you need me.
