Second Grade Class
I graduated with a BS in Elementary Education from Northwestern State University in 1992 and from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2000 with an MEd in Elementary Education. I first taught in Catahoula Parish for two years, then transferred to LaSalle Parish. I have been at JES since 2002.
I like to read and spend time with my family.
I enjoy teaching. It is exciting to see a child learn new things and become more aware of the world around him or her. Teaching is a most rewarding profession. I have had a pleasant experience this year at Jena Elementary School. It really is a great place to BEE!
