MRS. MCCARTNEY

2ND GRADE

My name is Linda Spinks McCartney. I grew up here in LaSalle Parish and have lived here most of my life. I graduated from Jena High School in 1984, and then from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston in 1987. I went to work here in LaSalle Parish the next year. I have taught kindergarten, first, and second grades during my thirteen years as a teacher. Three years were at Trout-Goodpine Kindergarten School , one year was at Olla Elementary and the rest were here at JES. I enjoy working with children and seeing their faces when the understanding of what I teach them shows in the expressions they make. That’s what makes this profession worth the time and effort that’s put into it.
